I've checked that these names return the smallest DNS answer.
CIFS
On Unix systems to access a remote filesystem, I am using Sharity.
Sharity with Samba (and possibly BlueArc Titan)
Options
Case mapping none
Name resolution DNS
Unix execute flag is DOS System attribute
Local character encoding apple
Server's character encoding codepage850 (this is important to match up with Samba's default)
Unix extensions to CIFS
Extended Security
Questions
What is BlueArc's character encoding? I may want to make sure that my Samba and the Titan are the same.
Are my Samba masks correct?
Can I make Sharity use Kerberos to Samba 3.0.23? This would be useful to workstations.
The weird problem with chown and chgrp on a sharity mounted filesystem.
