Xerox WorkCentre 7655
The NCAC Xerox WorkCentre 7655 can be configured just as easily and
is great for high volume, color, or double-sided printing.
See my Xerox guide.
MacOS X Hints
Since MacOS X 10.3 you can Add a printer using IP Printing, Socket/HP Jet Direct. For all our HP printers this is the preferred method. LPD/LPR will be turned off on the Jet Direct cards.
Update:
IPP (Internet Printing Protocol) seems to be well supported on Irix, OS X, and Windows.
This is the preferred printing method.
After adding a printer to the Printer List, be sure to show info on it and change
the name and location to the above standard names.
